Great revamp of the site. Especially like the equipment look up history.

Would it be possible to include a page that lists guitarists you've had requests for but not written their setups yet. You're likely to be inundated with requests for the same artist unless people can see you've already received requests. You could also request details from old guitar mags etc. that will make things easier to research for older setups.

More detail on some of the guitars would be useful - such as steve vai's custom fernandes sustainer which is fitted to 'flo'. This is becoming an essential part of his sound but is relatively unknown to most people.

hey monkeyboy,

thanks for the kind words. the equipment search was a real chore but worth it in the long run.

a request list is a great idea. it would save a lot of bandwidth and time sifting through U2 and Metallica requests :)

more details on rigs? we're getting there! some of the early rigs were constructed on very basic questions (no string, pickups or speaker info... etc). we'll follow up with steve this year sometime and delve a little deeper.

all the best

They could have a list of all the requests and the rigs they're working on and show the status. Like if they're still trying to find out details, or if they're just drawing it.

If it was done like that then maybe they could make requests for information if they don't have all the details on the rig.

id do a metallica rig if someone gave me a detailed list and the actual order as well as close up pics. all i get is a "rig list" thats not very acurate and rack pics from like 10 feet away that are like 100 by 300 pixels.

yah... an updated list would be fantastic. that way we'd know what was coming up... what was being worked on... etc.

and it might keep the same requests from being logged in all the time! heh.
