****in' rules. I put it in my car and I hear a new GOOD band every hour.
For anyone who lives in America, where the radio sucks dongs, the 10 bux a month for satallite radio is well spent to keep you from becoming jaded about awful music..
and comedy is good too..

i dont' know what that is. I mainly listen to Fred (early alternative, pre-nirvana alternative), XM LIve (concerts all the time), xm xtreme comedy (richard pryor) and XMU (university radio---underground bands)

I'm not sure about that particular model, but the only drawback (and can get annoying at times) is that the signal is easily cut out by overpasses or high concrete structures. Other than that, I'm listening to XM more than CDs now. It's great.
(Oh yeah and that damn HDTV bs pisses me off too!)

i listen to XM radio at work... great stuff. i hate the idea of paying for radio ... i mean, it's like cable TV or satelitte TV, i suppose.
but good radio should still be free!
nevertheless, XM radio rocks. lots of great rock channels, jazz stations ... and i like listening to Frank's Place (sinatra and sinatra related stuff).
I'm still waiting for a more programmable or personalized version - until then I will continue to just listen to my CD's.
