I was thinking about picking them up.. I saw them in the 2004 buyers guide.. seem pretty interesting, i might try them out once I get paid..

A buddy of mine was just telling me about these, the other day. They're pretty strange.

I've seen similar things. Like, two picks stuck together with a tiny, little spacer seperating the two picks. It was supposed to sound like a twelve string. It was kinda cool!

Hey sorry for my late reply,

I took some used guitarstrings ( the D and the A string on a 0.10 set i think) and cut them into about 10 pieces that were about 1 long, i then super glued them onto a pick and set them so that they were in a nice and straight line!

Voila! A counterfeit Jellyfish :)

did you use the D and A string or are you not sure wich one you used? If you used both what pattern did you use? (which strigs where) How well does it work?

Thanks a lot!

Cuz' he been floating so long and so far now,
He don't have bone in his jelly back
Not a bone in his body

EVERYONE SHOULD OWN THE NEW YEARS' EVE HENDRIX FILLMORE ALBUMS! This was off the subject though:)

So I'm wondering if more people have used this thing in the last year, and would be able to tell a little more about what it sounds like / how it's used.

Thanks.

Given the overwhelming lack of things I've heard about it, I'd guess that it's not all that useful.

I don't believe I've heard anyone say anything good about this thing.

And supposedly all the threads just sorts break/fall off after using it multiple times?

remember the time you thought it was funny to take your drummer's brushes and use one to strum your guitar. that's all it is.

they cut it the **** down and put plastic on the end and marketed it well.

i don't understand their product slogan of "CHORUS! PICK! BOW!" last time i checked, "chorus" didn't mean "play repeated downstrokes of an emo chord progression as harshly as you can."

in conclusion..

for those of you who are debating what you want to do with your $4.99 or whatever the hell this thing costs.. you should invest in a good rape whistle, so the next time some obscure company comes out with a flashy new godsend product.. you'll be able to blow the whistle on them, before they proceed to **** you up the ass.

is it just me or does the "pluck" technique sound a lot worse with the jellyfish? it sounds like playing with a quarter or something.
