10 years ago I was using a crybaby-marshall guv'nor- Digitech RP-1 into Marshall 2558 2x12 Jubilee combo. Main Guitars were a pair of Ibanez RG's
Then I had a Rack. A JMP-1--into--an 8008 power amp with an Art Multiverb Alpha 2.0. Feeding a pair of Laney 2 x 12 cabs. Usually with an Ibanez or my re-issue strat.
Now I use the following.
Gibson SG std into......
Cry Baby Wah----Boss sd-1 ------Marshall JCM200 TSL-60 Head into a 1960A 4x 12 Cab. The only other effect is a line 6 DL-4 on the FX Loop.
It sounds wicked.
