laptop use live.

not sure if this is the right place for this.. but what would be the best method for using my laptop in a live setting? my first thought would be a direct out from the sound card but are there any USB options? i use the laptop with an m-audio 61es.

A lot of folks use the USB/Firewire devices because they have 1/4" outputs.

our keyboardist just uses the 1/8 headphone out with a 1/4 adapter on it. seems to work fine.
