i'm having problem keeping my guitar stay in tune after using the whammy bar. i've tried adjusting the spring tension but still after several tremolo bar dips and pulls it goes a bit off tune. or may its the kind of string i'm using, is it? ernie ball super slinky (42, 32, 24, 16, 11, 09) is my current strings. or is it natural for a floating bridge to go off tune after dips and pulls? can you shed some light fellow geeks? tnx!

Get new springs and locking tuners. Sperzil are best. You'll never have this problem again.

Lube your nut and spring trees with graphite. A pencil is just about custom made ideal for the job. Getting the spring tension right is much easier if you aren't having issues with strings binding.

really! a pencil will do the trick! i'll do that first, it's cheaper than getting a new springs and locking tuners. i'll check the spring tension too, as well as how good i've binded the strings. thanks guys.
