Another welcome re-issue from the Electro Harmonix folks. The hazy shimmer of Poly-Chorus has always been a standout in the crowded world of choruses. It's rich swirl is thick and intimate and has few rivals. This pedal skyrocketed in popularity after it's underwater girgle appeared on the recordings of Nirvana. It's that's the sound you're after, don't look any further than the Poly-Chorus and just buy it. If you want more than that one trick, well then the Poly-Chorus can help you out there as well. A few different modes like Flanger and the Double Track really make their own mark soundwise. They are unique and should expand anyone's effect palette in a short afternoon of twiddling. As with some of the other Electro-Harmonix toys, there is a very cool Filter Matrix switch that adds some ring-mod tones that can narrow your tone to let your effect sit just right in a mix. Top all the sonics off with the extra gorgeous housing and you've got a real winner on your hands.
