Another well-voiced contender for the overdrive hall of fame. This meticulousy built overdrive pedal has a nice mellow crunch that preserves your tone like few pedals can do. Using a TS-9 as a model, the Fulldrive is much smoother without all the compressed crunch the Ibanez is known for. The Fulltone's range is much wider as well. The Fulldrive can back off to nothing but a transparent clean boost or burst into a mean and valvey bite. During these many shifts in sounds, the Full-Drive retains a crisp clarity that always pokes through the mix. Along with the traditional knobs for Overdrive,Tone, and Volume, the Fulltone adds a Boost knob and a Push /Pull Compression switch to the Volume knob. The Boost knob adds a little bump in volume for solos and the Comp mode tightens your tone which which may appeal to more aggressive players out there.
