MOOG MUSIC MOOGER FOOGER MF-102 RING MODULATOR

Moog Music Mooger Fooger MF-102 Ring Modulator

With five knobs, three LEDs, two switches, and a staggering nine 1/4" jacks, the Mooger Fooger Ring Modulator has enough dazzling options to keep even the most serious noisemakers content for years. As a straight ring mod, this does all the typical metallic clings and clangs. If that's all you are looking for in this pedal, I'd suggest saving the money and picking up a used DOD Gonkulator at a bargain price. On the other hand, if you are looking for endless tweaking, the Mooger is really the best. With a few shorts hours of experimentation behind us, we had already called up bizarre b-movie blips and beeps, creepy thermin-like tones, and a wide variety of seriously twisted tremolo effects. By plugging in up to four expression pedals to control the unit's main parameters, the possibilities more than quadruple. The modular nature of all the Mooger Fooger effects really lends itself to be hooked up or being fed by other devices. Brilliant!
