Hughes and Kettner Tube Rotosphere

The Rotosphere is probably the nearest you'll get to a real Leslie speaker in a box. These are usually found in more keyboardist's rigs than on guitarist's pedalboards and that's strangely comforting considering those cats are always on the hunt for a great Leslie sound. While nothing can replace the effect of a actual speaker moving in space, the Rotosphere comes pretty damn close without all the bulk. Sure it's much smaller than a Leslie, but most guitarist's will consider this 8" square unit a monster compared to the usual Boss or MXR pedals. If you've been attempting to pull off rotary sounds with simple chorus, phaser, or vibrato pedals, you'll end up replacing them with the Rotosphere anyway. There isn't a whole lot of competition out there when you add up things like tube warmth, solid construction, and cool ramp up/down features. Start saving that cash!
